PSI Single-Use Chemical Indicator Tape – Type 1

PSI offers single-use chemical indicators in the form of a roll of self-adhesive paper tape, printed with Type 1 indicator ink. These indicators are designed to monitor Steam, Ethylene Oxide (EO), Low Temperature Steam and Formaldehyde (LTSF), and Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VH2O2) sterilization processes.
They ensure that items have been adequately exposed to the sterilizing agent, enabling a clear visual distinction between processed and unprocessed items.
The adhesive backing allows for secure attachment to various packaging materials-cloth, paper, and plastic-while being easy to remove without leaving any residue.
An innovative, highly sensitive yellow indicator ink has been developed to respond specifically to steam sterilization. Upon sufficient exposure, the ink changes colour from yellow to dark brown or black or as per specific sterilization process.
