Description
PSI Offers ADLISC Hydrogel ECG Electrodes (Adult & Pediatric) are disposable, pre-gelled surface electrodes used to measure the electrical activity of the heart (ECG) by transmitting biopotential signals from the skin to ECG monitoring equipment. They consist of a conductive hydrogel interface on a flexible foam/adhesive backing with a snap connector that attaches to ECG lead wires. These electrodes are available in different sizes for adult and pediatric use, ensuring proper contact and reliable signals across age groups.
Features
Conductive Hydrogel Interface
The hydrogel layer has excellent electrical conductivity and adheres well to skin, helping pick up tiny cardiac electrical signals with low impedance.
Ag/AgCl Sensing System
Silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) is used as the sensor material, providing stable and low-noise ECG signals, which is essential for accurate diagnosis.
Snap Connector
High-conductivity snap (carbon/stainless steel) allows secure connection with ECG lead wires and ensures consistent electrical contact.
Skin-Friendly Backing and Adhesive
A medical-grade polyethylene foam backing and silicone-coated liner help with secure adhesion and comfortable skin contact, while making removal gentle.
Multiple Sizes
Specifically sized for adult and pediatric patients, which helps maintain signal quality and comfort appropriate for body size.
Disposable & Hygienic
Designed for single-use, reducing the risk of infection or cross-contamination, ideal for clinical environments.
Uses
These electrodes are widely used across clinical and monitoring settings where accurate ECG data is needed:
Electrocardiography (ECG) Monitoring
Used with ECG machines to record heart electrical activity for diagnosing arrhythmias, ischemia, and other cardiac conditions. Suitable for resting ECG, telemetry, and stress tests.
Neuromuscular & Brain Monitoring (EMG/EEG)
While primarily ECG electrodes, hydrogel electrodes can also be used for EMG (muscle activity) and EEG (brain signals) in certain diagnostic setups due to their low noise and good skin contact.
TENS and Electrical Therapies
Compatible with TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and similar therapies where surface electrical stimulation or signal pickup is required.
Pediatric Monitoring
Pediatric versions are sized and formulated to be gentle on younger patients with sensitive skin, ensuring accurate signal capture without excessive adhesive strength.
Clinical & Emergency Use
Used in hospitals, clinics, emergency departments, and outpatient settings for routine and critical patient monitoring.
